Approving call requests

On Seconds, a fan can’t call you out of the blue. They first send a request. Approving it creates a standing approval, so that fan can call you again later without asking each time.

What happens when you approve

When you approve a fan, you assign the per-second rate that applies to their calls — either your default rate or a custom rate just for them. Nothing is charged at this point; approval simply unlocks the ability for that fan to ring you. The fan then picks how long they want to talk, which sets the most a single call can cost.

Declining and muting

  • Decline a request and it’s removed — no money was ever held.
  • Do Not Disturb stops a fan’s calls from reaching you without permanently removing their approval, so you can resume later.
  • Block cuts a fan off entirely.

You’re never obligated to accept, answer, or stay on any call.
